A large bank was refurbishing a data processing center in the DFW metroplex in 2010. When they removed the existing cast iron roof drains for inspection, it was obvious that the extensive rusting of the cast iron roof drains could lead to a catastrophic failure. Failure of a roof drain in a data processing center is not going to be a good event.

They needed a more reliable, long term stainless steel roof drain solution. StainlessDrains.com was referred to the engineering firm, and we began the process of determining their exact needs. We built several prototypes to ensure the design was perfect for the roof drain application. The drains were easily installed, and will provide a “building lifetime” solution for the customer.
