All models are constructed in 304 or 316 stainless steel and are available in standard and custom configurations. Sanitary drains are mainly used in food and beverage manufacturing plants, restaurant and institutional kitchens, retail food preparation areas and chemical & pharmaceutical processing plants. Light-Duty Sanitary Drains
The light-duty sanitary drain is available as 10" round or 12" square top drains with a 12 gauge perforated grate. Schedule 10 or schedule 40 outlets in 2", 3" or 4" diameters are standard. A stainless steel sediment basket is included with all drains. Light-duty drain grates are best suited for foot traffic.
Medium-Duty Sanitary Drains
The medium-duty sanitary drain is manufactured with either 8" ID or 12" OD drain tops. Either size is available with square or round grates. Grate options include 1/4" stainless steel plate with 1/2" slots or perimeter gaps with 1" finger holes. Outlets in 2", 3" or 4" diameter in schedule 10 or schedule 40 are standard. All drains include stainless steel sediment baskets at no additional charge. Medium-duty drain grates are best suited for high foot traffic areas which may include the use of pallet jacks or hydraulic stackers.
Heavy-Duty Sanitary Drains
The heavy-duty sanitary drain is manufactured with either 8" ID or 12" OD drain tops. Also standard is either a 1/2" Stainless steel plate with perimeter gaps or 1/2" slots. Schedule 10 or schedule 40 outlets in 3" or 4" diameters are standard options. Stainless steel sediment baskets are standard. Heavy-duty grates are rated for fork lift traffic.
